For Linux and FreeBSD users: TiMidity doesn't work correctly with OSS version 301 or earlier. If you have it, please install a newer OSS driver which is available from http://www.opensound.com/. Also please use the new include file "/usr/lib/oss/soundcard.h".

Windows binary: timidity-w32-2_11_3.zip (963 KB) (Some functions are not implemented yet)
This binary is optimized for the Pentium, so it is possible it doesn't work on a 486 machine. TiMidity requires a set of sound patches to work properly (not included). Please read here to use Eric A. Welsh's patch set.

The original version of TiMidity (version 0.2i) is available from here (148 KB).
