TiMidity++ uses GUS/patch (Glavis Ultrasound) as the voice data to play. You need to get GUS/patch files and make the timidity configuration file. By default, it's installed in /usr/local/lib/timidity/timidity.cfg (or C:\WINDOWS\TIMIDITY.CFG on Windows). Please check the following sites for lots more voice (patch) data:
